Install LocaleVault for the demo
LocaleVault is distributed as an unpacked Chrome extension for this hackathon demo. It is not yet a Chrome Web Store listing.

- Open
chrome://extensions. - Turn on Developer mode.
- Select Load unpacked.
- Select the unzipped folder that directly contains
manifest.json. - Pin LocaleVault from Chrome’s Extensions menu, then open its Side Panel.
3. Try the safe demo
- In the Side Panel, select Create demo vault.
- Open the Demo Hub and choose a flow to test.
- For the ambiguous form, review the Precise Fill preview and approve only the fields you want to enter.
Demo safety: use only the fictional Demo Vault data. Do not enter real passwords, addresses, or personal information. This hackathon MVP has not received a production security audit.
Troubleshooting
- If the Side Panel does not appear, click the LocaleVault toolbar icon after pinning it.
- If a page is not detected, reload the page after loading the extension.
- Use the Demo Hub first; it is the supported environment for this MVP.
